Our Story

ConnectUs Worldwide Ministries (CWWM) is a ministry that supports a contemporary spiritual community. We foster Biblical principles, faith, education, worship, and outreach, while serving the changing needs of its members and the surrounding community.

We gather both online and in-person within various communities. We are committed to reaching a broader number of individuals having a desire to increase their understanding of God’s Word.

Foundational scripture: 2 Timothy 4:1-5 (NLT)

I solemnly urge you in the presence of God and Jesus, who will someday judge the living and the dead when he comes to set up his Kingdom: Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching.

For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths. But you should keep a clear mind in eery situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe that the Bible was organized and translated into various tongues from its original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek languages. Many scholars have endeavored to meticulously translate the ancient languages of Biblical times into various other languages.

This includes, but is not limited to, the English interpretation by John Wycliffe in 1382, the work of William Tyndale from 1525-1535 in the New Testament and parts of the Old Testament, and the King James Version, which became the authorized version by King James for the church in England around 1604. It later became the most widely used English translation of the Bible for a period of time.

We further trust that hundreds of Dead Sea Scroll manuscripts found at the Dead Sea provides direction and support for scriptural teachings in the Old Testament today.

Thus, we extend our Statement of Faith as follows:

  • We believe in God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and that they operate together in perfect unity. 1 John 5:6-9; Col. 2:9-10

  • We believe that the ancient scrolls/writings in the early languages of Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, were preserved by God for discovery Jeremiah 36; Ezra 6:1-2

  • We believe that the ancient writings were inspired by God for instruction, is the authoritative Word of God, and that the Bible is our moral compass 2 Timothy 3:16-17.

  • We believe that Christ sent the Holy Spirit to be our comforter and guide and it is He who gives us discernment, wisdom and understanding to rightly divide the Word of truth John 16:13

  • We believe in the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:5-6

  • We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Eph. 2:8-10; Romans 10:9-10

  • We believe that God gives us freedom of choice. We can choose an eternal life with Him or experience eternal death without Him. Matthew 25:31-46; 1 John 5:11-12: Deut. 30:19;

  • We believe in the spiritual unity of Christian disciples and all those who receive salvation are members of the body. 1 Cor. 12:12-27

  • We believe in baptism by immersion under water. Matthew 3:16-17; Col. 2:11-12

  • We believe in the Lord’s Supper, which is the commemoration of the atoning death of our Lord Jesus Christ until He comes.. 1 Cor. 11:23-27

  • We believe that every believer was born with God-given spiritual gifts and not everyone has the same abilities. It is only through the power of the Holy Spirit that our gifts are manifested 1 Cor. 12: 1-11; 1 Peter 4:10-11

  • We believe that love covers a multitude of sins and therefore commit to greeting one another in love. 1 Peter 4:8-9
